Soco Falls is a breathtaking, double waterfall located in the Cherokee Reservation, south of the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Smoky Mountains. The taller falls is 120 feet high; a steep and sometimes slippery trail will bring you to the base of the waterfalls. During the 1700's, the Cherokee used Soco Gap as the main entrance to their lands, and as an outpost for ambushes.
