As you may have noticed, birch trees are my favourite tree to paint. This is probably due to the texture and interesting markings o on the bark. The white bark also tends to 'stand out' from the other trees and foliage. This painting was inspired by a view from 'Buckhorn Lake' in the Kawarthas.
