This amazing Bird of Prey was once on the brink of extinction, but with great perseverance has rebounded back to a healthier population once more. A brilliant and necessary hunter, the Peregrine Falcon is the fastest animal on Earth, seizing its prey from above with a calculated and merciful attack, at diving speeds approaching an astounding 370 km/hr.
