This Duckling was inspired by an encounter during one of my trips to Holland. A family of common ducks were meandering down one of the roadside canals, and this little one appeared to be daydreaming, falling behind as Mom and the siblings kept pace. Thankfully, it seemed to realize the growing distance between itself and the safety of the team, and quickly (with noticeable effort!) closed the gap.
This painting is framed and ready to hang.
