Inspired by the waterfall at the top of our backyard pond. It’s a year round favourite spot for lots of birds, especially during the warm months when they all jockey for the best bathing spots. The water also attracts many insects, including magical iridescent dragonflies. The iris in bloom and the dragonfly in the foreground are collage pieces from repurposed acrylic pour paintings. This piece has painted sides and is ready to hang.
