Black walnut is a native Canadian tree species and is common to Southern Ontario. Branch grain is visible in the centre of the bowl, as well as heart and sap wood. The irregular bark edge follows the natural surface characteristics of the log. Each wood turned item is hand sanded and sealed with a food-grade, highly durable gloss finish.
