"01 Wetlands" was created "en plein air" at Stone Mills township amongst a wild part of the Beaver River Wetlands Trail. Here, limestone meets granite rock to create enchanting pools of water and wildlife. Marsh marigolds and water lilies can also be seen here. I wanted to paint the experience of our natural world in colour and paint.
